Introduction
|
|
It can be very confusing when deciding on the correct
software one requires to carry out a function or for creating a project
or service. Even the most experienced of web users still have to load
and try out software. Then unload the software as it is not suitable
for the purpose and completely miss-leading.
|
|
I can never understand why on earth software businesses
really believe
they can spin a yarn and take it as red that the poor recipient will
just merrily carry on and buy the product. I can only conclude these
operators are five minute wonders out to make a quick buck. And we
will, See them come, and see them go!
The software I have chosen thus far, has been based upon
years of use and products I found to be reliable. Some of the more
recent product releases however have been over engineered in areas of
no real importance.
|
|
I have mentioned this in the reviews, so don't be
worried or alarmed.
As I get the time I will write up further 'Wikibytes' of
software products that I find to be reliable and must emphasize these
reviews and suggestions are only personal ones, before someone decides
to sue me.

One important factor that I do suggest, is when you load
new software,
always try and keep the bundle separate from the operating system. So
if for example you have two hard drives say C:\ and D:\, keep the
operating system on C:\ and the software on drive D:\ for a
number of
valid reasons. One importantly being, if the operating system registry
becomes corrupt and renders the PC unusable. Your software on the other
drive is safe and you can therefore reload the operating system into
drive C:\ again as a completely fresh build.
|
 |
|
It is therefore worth while when downloading software to
set up a special folder for this purpose in drive D:\, unless you have
further hard drive that you can use and place them into there (e.g;
E:\, F:\ etc..). Again for a number of reasons, but mainly to protect
your system and software from internet thieves and manufacturing
fraternity using spy ware to track the products you are using.
|
|
Spy ware is normally programmed to front end, seeking
out what you are using in C:\programs for example.

helping with your questions to write tutorials on those topics.

Have Fun, and I will write up and include more software
products when I get a spare minute or two.
Safe surfing, regards.
