Diary Entry and Thesis:

Welcome to the Mozeditor Project,
it has taken me 4 and a half years to establish a way where search
engine results can be more accurate and at the same time, counter
opportunists who spam web sites for content and publish it as their
own. But more importantly, to outlaw phishing, spam, child abuse,
passing off, identity theft, invasion of privacy and to diminish virus
attacks through browser ware.

I have been able to determine that there are 14 main
elements, that
can all be cross referenced in a document, to validate it's true
origin,
author and organizations legal rights and protection. Search engines in
the main, work within RDF and XML for data collection. Labels can
be
written with unique ID's and parameters to achieve the Mozilla Editor
Objective. I have also been able to establish, that with responsible
state
support, prosecution can be achieved in all of the above areas of
concern.

By introducing a code of conduct, that is currently
being discussed in it's
infant form. Search Engine, Internet Service Providers, Web
Hosting and Commercial related business, connected to the Internet,
could
also become liable for damages in respect conspiracy to offend, if they
do
not address these crimes. It is possible now to address many of the
social ills that the World
Wide Web has currently inherited,

observation and examination of new
customers and clients, should be a natural day to day business
activity, in relation to risk assessment of creditor and debtor
liability. As they say it's
not rocket science!
For a code of conduct to work successfully, the service
requires
state funding contributions. All states from around the world have a
duty to participate. The
service needs to be free of charge and not developed for profit.

The Mozeditor project like Yahoo Search builder, is a
free membership
project, it can only work properly this way as I have mentioned above
and I am
no hypocrite.
Like Tim
Berners Lee and other fellow colleagues of the
web, I care and have an affinity for it.
I, like so many, get
extremely frustrated by the traps and tricks of the criminals who have
invaded this phenomena.

So for a
member new to our World Wide Web Community, can be a very daunting
experience and within minutes literally, be in trouble from invasion of
privacy, theft, viruses etc.
One of my nephews only this past weekend,
within a few hours had his PC completely corrupted and unusable by
going on bebo and face book is a prime example.

Benchmark standards need to be set out for the project
to work.
These standards can encompass responsibility to the web community and
penalties can be imposed that will result in financial starvation as a
result in the demise in traffic.
How can this
be achieved? It is very simple, I have devised a way, where an
offending Search Engine for example, failing to address reports of
spam and

abuse, can be put on
notice and flagged in the web community directory.
As a result of being on notice, the search engine
service cannot display certification
labelling to protect its users. As a result family and business surfers
will
be inclined to try and seek out alternate services that are active and
conform to the code of conduct.

So what are the 14
elements for optimization, ranking and accuracy
that can also be measured by quality of service rather than commercial
clout or opportunists and organized crime.
By developing the Mozilla Editor Project architectural
framework,
deserving business modules, personal web sites etc. will benefit and
strengthen their web and commercial presence.

Eventually, the only industries
affected, will be failing organizations anyway that have no moral
grounds or concious, to address these very serious issues in the first
instance, will be affected and in the short, mid to long term. These
organizations (corporates), are purely driven by financial gain and at
any cost will always try to achieve
maximum coverage of the Internet environment with any form or service
that can generate revenue. These entities will certainly not be missed
A a simple example is this.
The Search Engine Yahoo
would
continue to grow successfully in their
specialized field. The same as Reuters
for News or the Financial Times
for Stock Markets. Neither of the three mentioned would endeavour to
challenge the other two in view of field and expertise, but sadly the
current environment does have these entities that are over valued and
have no real value of assets in software and technology ownership and
intellectual property. The money markets as before in the dot com crash
are behaving like lemmings heading towards a cliff. So a collaborative
community environment can be the most practical way forward and
workable, as knowledge and evolutionary development on initiative and
merit will win the day.
